GENERATIONS UNITED IN PRIDE, KAZAKHSTAN UNITED IN FREEDOM!

In celebration of Republic Day, observed on October 25, the Open University of Kyzylorda and Kyzylorda Higher Multidisciplinary College jointly held a festive event celebrating Kazakhstan’s independence, national identity, and shared aspirations for the future.
The ceremony brought together faculty members, university staff, and students in a spirit of unity, patriotism, and pride in their homeland.
A special highlight of the event was the congratulatory address by K. A. Bisenov, Founder of the Open University of Kyzylorda, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, and Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In his speech, he reflected on the historical significance of Republic Day and its place in shaping Kazakhstan’s statehood and national identity.
The ceremony also recognised the dedication and achievements of faculty members, staff, and active students, who received awards in acknowledgement of their contributions and accomplishments.
The celebration continued with a vibrant cultural programme showcasing the talents of the university’s students. Patriotic songs, traditional Kazakh dances, the soulful melodies of the küy, and a thought-provoking theatrical performance brought the nation’s rich cultural heritage and enduring traditions to life.
More than a celebration, the event served as a reminder that the strength of an independent nation lies in the unity of its people, the wisdom passed down through generations, and the aspirations of its youth. By fostering patriotism, honouring national heritage, and promoting respect for the country’s history, the celebration reaffirmed the importance of preserving the values of independence for generations to come.
