Meeting on Enhancing Legal Awareness Held

   Today, an important meeting aimed at improving students’ legal awareness was held at Open University of Kyzylorda. The event was organized within the framework of activities focused on the protection and promotion of human rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

  The main purpose of the meeting was to enhance young people’s legal culture, improve their understanding of the law, and strengthen civic responsibility among students.

  The event featured special guests:

  • Berikbol Uzakuly Baikhozhayev — Representative of the Human Rights Commissioner of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Kyzylorda Region;
  • Aliislam Vadimuly Baikhadam — Member of the “Spirit of Freedom” Youth Rights Commission under the Human Rights Commissioner of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

  During the meeting, students received information about the fundamental rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the key provisions of the Constitutional Law “On the Human Rights Commissioner in the Republic of Kazakhstan,” as well as the official responsibilities of the regional representative of the Human Rights Commissioner in the Kyzylorda Region.

  The speakers shared their professional experience and provided valuable insights into current issues in the field of human rights protection and possible ways to address them. Students actively participated in the discussion, asked questions, and engaged in an open exchange of opinions throughout the meeting.
