Scientific Seminar and International Cooperation Memorandum Signed

     Today, a scientific seminar meeting for the academic staff was held at Open University of Kyzylorda with the participation of Marina Mikhailovna Yashchenko, Director of the Scientific Publications company.

      During the meeting, participants discussed in detail ways to strengthen the university’s scientific potential, improve its performance in international academic rankings, and enhance the quality of scientific publications. The attendees also exchanged views on current priorities aimed at increasing the effectiveness of research activities.

      As part of the official meeting, a memorandum of bilateral cooperation was signed between the university and the Scientific Publications company. The agreement focuses on implementing joint research projects, supporting scientific publications, and expanding cooperation within the international scientific community.

     In her presentation, Marina Mikhailovna Yashchenko provided faculty members with comprehensive information about international scientific journals indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. She also explained the process of publishing articles in high-ranking journals, the requirements and stages for including journals in the Scopus database, and strategies for improving the Hirsch index.

     At the end of the seminar, faculty members received answers to their questions and shared proposals for the further development of scientific cooperation.
