Psychological Safety and Bullying Prevention

    A meeting with a professional psychologist on the topic “Psychological Safety and Bullying Prevention” was held for students living in the dormitory of Kyzylorda Open University.

   The main purpose of the event was to promote a psychologically safe environment among young people, prevent bullying, and strengthen students’ emotional well-being.

   The guest speaker of the meeting was psychologist and therapist Perizat Nurlankyzy Akimova. During the session, the specialist provided detailed information about different types of bullying, its psychological impact, ways to protect oneself in difficult situations, and the importance of mutual respect and support. Students also had the opportunity to ask questions and receive practical advice and recommendations.

   During the informative meeting, the Head of the University’s Department for Educational and Cultural Activities, Roza Aibergenkyzy Shynzhyrbay, spoke about dormitory discipline, the culture of interpersonal communication, and the importance of psychological support within the student community.

   Such events play an important role in creating a supportive environment, fostering respect among students, and maintaining the psychological well-being of young people.
