DEAR FELLOW CITIZENS!

   I wholeheartedly congratulate you on one of our country’s greatest holidays—Republic Day, October 25!
   Republic Day is a national holiday of special historical significance that symbolizes the lofty ideals of freedom, strengthens statehood, and affirms the enduring value of our country’s independence.
On October 25, 1990, the Declaration on State Sovereignty of the Kazakh SSR was adopted—a fateful historical document that paved the way for Kazakhstan’s emergence as an independent state. This important step marked a new phase in our people’s centuries-long quest for freedom and laid a solid foundation for sovereign statehood.
   Thanks to the initiative of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, Republic Day has once again regained its status as a national holiday. Today, it has become a special occasion that strengthens the unity of the people, elevates the spirit of patriotism, and instills confidence in our country’s future.
   Today, Kazakhstan is entering a new historical phase, consistently implementing important tasks of political modernization, economic development, and social progress. Building a Just, Strong, and Prosperous Kazakhstan is our common goal. On this path, quality education, cutting-edge science, creative labor, and the intellectual potential of the younger generation are the main guarantees of a bright future for the country.
   The greatest wealth of our sovereign state is the unity and solidarity of its people, as well as social stability and harmony. Preserving and strengthening our independence, enhancing Kazakhstan’s international standing, and building a dignified future for future generations are the sacred duty of every citizen.
   On this momentous and festive day, I wish you all good health, well-being for your families, prosperity and comfort in every home, new achievements, and great success in your work!
   May our country’s sovereignty be eternal, its independence unshakable, and the unity of its people strong! May our sky-blue flag fly high, and may Kazakhstan’s prestige and glory continue to grow!
