MEMORABLE EVENTS DEDICATED TO THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH OF ALDABERGEN BISSENOV, HERO OF SOCIALIST LABOR, WILL BE HELD IN THE “LAND OF SYR”.
In the Kyzylorda Region, a series of socially significant historical, educational, and cultural events will be held in honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Aldabergen Bissenov, a renowned figure in the agricultural sector, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, and a Hero of Socialist Labor.
From October 28 to November 6, 2026, commemorative events will be held to honor the life of this outstanding figure, who made a significant contribution to the country’s development.
Aldabergen Bissenov is a historical figure who devoted his entire adult life to the prosperity of his homeland, the development of agriculture, and selfless service for the good of the country. His life’s journey, the well-deserved respect of the people, his heroic deeds during the war, and his tireless work in peacetime serve as a shining example of patriotism, determination, and dedication to his cause. His contributions to the country and his exemplary civic virtues will forever remain an invaluable spiritual legacy for present and future generations.
Commemorative events will begin on October 28 at 10:00 a.m. in the village of Akkum with the regional poetry contest “Adal enbektiń aktangeri” (“Symbol of Honest Labor”). As part of this literary and poetic gathering, the greatness of the working person, national ideals, and love for the homeland will be celebrated through the power of the spoken word.
On October 31 at 10:00 a.m., competitions in national sports and equestrian events will take place at the “Bagdaulet” racetrack in the village of Akkum. These sporting events, aimed at reviving national traditions and promoting our people’s rich cultural heritage, will vividly demonstrate the historical and spiritual significance of this memorable day.
One of the key and central events of the commemorative program will be the regional scientific and educational conference “A Life Devoted to Labor: The Glorious Path of Aldabergen Bissenov,” which will take place on November 6 at 11:00 a.m. at the “Syr Bolashagy” Competence Center. During the conference, the life and work of Aldabergen Bissenov, his contribution to the development of agriculture, his role as a historical figure, and the significance of his public activities will be comprehensively examined. The conference will serve as an important platform for the exchange of views, contributing to the preservation of historical memory, the transmission of the moral legacy of past generations to today’s youth, and the promotion of the value of creative labor.
A memorial lunch service will be held on November 6 at 1:00 p.m. at the “Daria” restaurant. At 3:00 p.m., the auditorium of the Center for Continuing Education at the “Syr Juldyzdary” Academy of Creativity and Innovation for Children and Adolescents will host a gathering of akyns titled “A Life as Long as a Century—An Example for Future Generations”. Masters of the poetic word will sing of the esteemed figure’s glorious work, the eventful history of the Syr region, and the enduring spiritual values of the people.
As part of the commemorative events, Aldabergen Bissenov’s significant contribution to the country’s development, his civic stance, and his career will be widely highlighted, and his historical legacy will be shared with the younger generation.
