25th Anniversary of the University of Friendship of Peoples: A Key Educational Event 🎓

The University of Friendship of Peoples named after Academician A. Kuatbekov has proudly celebrated its 25th anniversary! This grand event brought together representatives of leading universities from Kazakhstan and abroad, scientists, members of parliament, and government officials.

🔹 The Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, attended as an honorary guest and highly praised the university’s achievements. Also present were Deputy Akim of Shymkent Sarsen Kuranbek, Chairman of the City Maslikhat Bakhadyr Narimbetov, Chairman of the Association of Universities of Kazakhstan Rakhman Alshanov, Mazhilis MP Kazibek Isa, as well as rectors of international universities and renowned scholars.

🔹 As part of the 25th-anniversary celebration, the university held a grand opening of several key facilities:
✅ The "Dostyk" Sports Complex – a state-of-the-art facility meeting international standards;
✅ The "Next Step" Research Laboratory and a research office dedicated to Academician A. Kuatbekov;
✅ IT HUB and Coworking Zone – modern spaces for student innovation and research;
✅ A new 7-story academic building featuring a digital auditorium.

📍 Kyzylorda Open University was also actively involved in this significant event. Representing the university, Acting Vice-Rector for Academic Mobility and International Relations, Aisulu Mukhametzhankyzy, contributed to strengthening academic partnerships. Additionally, important cooperation agreements were signed between domestic and international universities.
