Experience for Future Specialists: Educational Visit to Kazgermunai

The Open University of Kyzylorda continues to implement systematic activities aimed at organizing industrial practice and professional orientation for students. As part of this work, an educational excursion was arranged for the students of groups VTPO-25-1, NGD-25-1, EN-25-1, and OPD-25-1 with the support of Kazgermunai LLP, a joint venture.

The purpose of the excursion was to shape the professional outlook of future specialists, provide practical insight into work processes in the fields of energy, oil and gas, and industrial technologies, as well as introduce students to real production facilities and modern technological solutions.

During the visit, company specialists provided detailed information about the enterprise’s production structure, the introduction of new technologies, environmental safety standards, and key stages of the work process. Experts also answered students’ questions and highlighted the future development prospects of the industry.

For the students, this visit was not only an opportunity to combine theory with practice but also a valuable chance to understand the requirements of today’s labor market and develop their own professional plans. Participants shared their impressions and emphasized the importance of such practical, experience-based activities.

The Open University of Kyzylorda will continue strengthening partnerships with regional industrial enterprises and plans to further expand projects aimed at enhancing students’ professional development.
