12 AUGUST — INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY

International Youth Day was established by the United Nations General Assembly on 17 December 1999.

Emphasizing the important role of the younger generation, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has highlighted the wisdom and potential of young people: “Ақыл – жастан” (“Wisdom comes from the young”).
