“A Reading Nation” — a Marathon Promoting a Culture of Reading

Kyzylorda Open University invites its students to take part in the national “A Reading Nation” marathon, aimed at encouraging the reading of literary works, fostering a closer connection with books, and developing a sustainable habit of regular reading.

Participants in the marathon are provided with a special list of literary works in Kazakh and Russian. The works included in the list can be found in the National Electronic Library — kazneb.kz, on partner digital platforms, as well as in school, city and regional libraries.

If you cannot find the book you need right away, do not worry! The guide provides information on where and how to search for books, how to access their electronic and printed versions, as well as useful tips for effective reading.

Reading is not only a pathway to knowledge but also a value that helps develop a culture of thinking.
