MODERN METHODS OF SOCIAL WORK DISCUSSED

   Today, Open University of Kyzylorda hosted a meaningful academic meeting with the participation of Raushan Baltabayevna Italmassova, Head of the Social Work Educational Programme at the School of Humanities of Narxoz University, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, and Associate Professor.

   As part of the meeting, Professor Italmassova delivered a lecture for students studying in the fields of Business and Law and Education. The lecture covered key areas including the social sector, social psychology, research methodology, and the organization of social work.

 During the session, modern methods, approaches, and technologies for working with families facing difficult life circumstances, children with special needs, and other groups receiving social support were discussed in detail. Particular attention was paid to effective communication in professional practice, the analysis of social issues, and the development of skills for productive interaction with various social groups.

 As part of the meeting, Raushan Baltabayevna Italmassova also conducted a special workshop for the university’s faculty members on the topic of “Social Project Design”, sharing effective approaches to developing and implementing social projects.

The academic lecture and practical workshop enabled participants to expand their professional knowledge and explore contemporary practices in the field of social work.
