A meeting dedicated to the World AIDS Day was held on the topic: “leadership-to communities”.

Gulsim Zhumabekova, a doctor-epidemiologist of the Regional Center for AIDS prevention and Control, conducted explanatory work at the event.

In his speech, the lecturer noted that "over the past 10 months, HIV infection has been detected in 42 people in the region, and in the future, specialists will often organize such events in order to prevent the disease."

Students and young people were given information leaflets with a brief description of the ways to avoid the disease, warning that any citizen has the opportunity to pass an express test for the detection of HIV infection.
