Great news on the day of the Nauryz holiday!!!
Kyzylorda Open University has been admitted to associate members of the Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU). The association consists of 23 members and 18 associate members.
The Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU), founded in 1987, is an organization of higher education institutions primarily concerned with open and distance education. Its goal is to increase access to educational opportunities in Asia and improve the quality of education in terms of educational administration, teaching and research.
It promotes education through distance learning systems and professional and ethical standards; develops open and distance education opportunities; cooperates with government agencies and persons interested in distance education; promotes cooperation with other regional and international organizations.
AAOU membership consists of full and associate members. The AAOU Annual Conference is a stimulating forum for higher education institutions and students engaged in open and distance learning in Asia.
In addition to the enormous trust placed in the university staff, this decision imposes great responsibility.
