Tomiris Kanatovna is a 2nd year student of the educational program "Jurisprudence". Winner of the main prize of the Kyzylorda regional project "Top-20 students".

Q: Tomiris we know you as an active student. Let's start our conversation by getting to know yourself.

 A: I was born in 2005 in Kyzylorda.  Today I am a 2nd year student of the  Open University of Kyzylorda.

Q: you are the winner of many competitions. Can you tell me more about it?

A: thanks to the constant search and movement, during the student period I participated in various events and took prizes. In particular, in the 2022-2023 academic year, I worked as the chairman of the Committee on Youth Affairs of the  Open University of Kyzylorda.  I am the winner of the Grand Prix of the Kyzylorda regional project "Top 20 students". In addition, I won the main prize in the Regional Art Competition "Jas fest", I-place in the art competition "Golden Autumn" among city educational institutions, II-place in the case Championship on the topic "Gender violence". Also, at the university competition "Theatrical performance" I was awarded the Nomination "Best organizer" and the main prize. I summed up the results of this academic year in the Nomination “Best of the year - 2024”.

Q: What should Student Life be like for you?

A: to be a student is to have a thirst for knowledge, not to be afraid of difficulties and to love life as it is. Use your time correctly and gain experience. In addition to education at the University, active participation in social and cultural events opens up many opportunities.

Q: What advice do you give to your contemporaries?

A: test your abilities when you are a student. Maybe you can learn something new about yourself that will change your life.
