A cooperation agreement was signed between the Kyzylorda Open University and the Bulgarian Free University of Burgas.

On March 22, 2024, the Moscow Polytechnic University hosted the International Educational Conference "Environmental Safety and Sustainability of Social Development", which was attended by the Kyzylorda Open University in an online form. At the opening of the conference, the first vice-rector, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor Zhunisov Abaibek Talgatovich made a welcoming speech.
