The Library of Kyzylorda Open University Has Been Enriched with New Books

On April 23, Kazakhstan celebrates National Book Day and Librarians’ Day, established at the initiative of the Head of State. In honor of this significant occasion, Book Week has been launched across the country, featuring events aimed at promoting spiritual values. The library of Kyzylorda Open University is also hosting meaningful activities designed to foster a love for reading and highlight the importance of books in society. This day is not only a celebration of books but also a tribute to librarians, whose work preserves and passes knowledge on to future generations.

On the eve of the holiday, the library collection was enriched with valuable academic publications. Gulsara Shaikhislamova, a second-year doctoral student of the “Social Work” educational program at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, donated her authored учебные пособия titled “Social Security” and “Management of Social Conflicts” to the university library. These works provide a comprehensive analysis of social security issues and examine the causes of social conflicts and their management mechanisms from a scientific perspective.

The new учебные пособия will serve as an important academic resource for students and faculty, contributing to the improvement of the quality of the educational process. This initiative represents meaningful support for education and science, as well as an important step in enriching the library’s collection.
