The department trains specialists in the following educational programs: 6В04141  - Accounting and Auditing; 6В04140  - Economics; 6B11476  - Social work. 6В04142  - State and Local Government.

The teaching staff of the department consists of 19 people, including candidates of sciences -13, masters of sciences -3, senior lecturers -3.

The main tasks of the department:

- development of curricula, working curricula for educational programs approved by the department;

- scientific and methodical support of academic disciplines assigned to the department;

- development and realization of individual work plans of the teaching staff of the department;

- preparation of textbooks, manuals, teaching aids for current, intermediate and final control of students' knowledge;

- use of new technologies and innovative programs for quality mastering of educational materials by students;

- organization of independent work of students and equipping with the necessary teaching materials;

- formation of business and partnership relations with enterprises and institutions;

- promotion of employment of graduates of the department;

- professional development of the teaching staff of the department;

- conducting scientific research in accordance with the approved plans, preparation of scientific projects, implementation of their results in the production and educational process.

The department "Economics and Management" cooperates with various enterprises and organizations: agrifarm "Bagdaulet", farm "Bagdaulet-57", municipal state institutions "Department of coordination for employment and social programs of the Kyzylorda region", "Kyzylorda Center for special social services №1" of the Department of coordination for employment and social programs of the Kyzylorda region.

Teachers of the department in accordance with the approved plans of research work and scientific-methodical seminar carry out work in the following scientific directions:

- Improvement of mechanisms of state support of agrarian industry of Kyzylorda region;

- Causes of poverty and main mechanisms of struggle with the unemployed population today;

- Features of logistic systems in oil and gas industry;

- Economic efficiency of introduction of capital investments in the transportation market in the framework of services;

- Ways to improve the system of labor remuneration at the enterprise;

- Capital market and monetary policy;

- Ecological consciousness of Kazakhstan student youth as a factor of social activity;

- Current state and prospects of tourism development in Kyzylorda region;

- Monitoring of socio-economic situation of the population of the ecological zone;

- Formation of self-employment market in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Department of "Law and Service" is an educational and scientific structure of the University

The Division of "Law and service" is an educational and scientific structure of the University.

The department trains bachelors in the following educational programs: 6В04246 – " Jurisprudence (criminal law)" 6В04248 – " Jurisprudence (public service)" 6В04249 – " Jurisprudence (financial law)" 6В05247 – "Ecology" 6В11111 – "Cultural and leisure work" 6В03231 – "Library Science" 6В02132 – "Design".

The department carries out educational and methodical and research work on training specialists in legal, natural, artistic, social educational, service directions.

The teaching staff of the chair consists of 32 teachers, including 14 candidates of sciences, 5 masters of sciences, 4 associate professors, 28 senior teachers.

Teachers of the department closely cooperate with students, carry out comprehensive educational work, take an active part in interuniversity competitions, subject olympiads in the level of the region and the republic.

Under the educational program 6B04246 - "Jurisprudence" the department prepares highly qualified specialists for law enforcement agencies and organizations in various spheres of public service.

Teachers of the department conduct constant educational and methodical work; prepare students for the annual student conference at the university. It also prepares students for participation in international and republican conferences and student Olympiads held in other universities.

The department is assigned a forensic science room, which is equipped with stands demonstrating the basic elements of forensic science; a forensic laboratory functions.

At the department there is a hall of court sessions, necessary for training of future lawyers. At the department there is a circle "young lawyer". Together with teachers, students provide legal advice to citizens.

   Library of the Open University of Kyzylorda

    The activity of the library is to ensure the availability of necessary scientific and educational resources for students and teachers of the university.

The main tasks are:

    1.Creation and provision of modern information products, services that meet the needs of users in the field of education and science. Improvement of information culture of students and teachers, development of their information competencies.

    2.Strengthening the connection with the subdivisions and research departments of the University, formation of library and information resources. Development of the library as a resource center for educational and scientific activities of the university.

    3.Preservation of the existing library fund, electronic documents through the application of a set of measures such as restoration and prevention.

    4.Conducting research, methodological (analytical, organizational, advisory) work on the improvement of all types of activities. Organization of creative and constructive interaction with the university departments.

    5.Ensuring the development of the library. Increasing the professional potential by training the library staff in accordance with modern requirements and professional standards.
